Riethmiller during a non-traditional change of command ceremony shared live through social media. The tradition of passing the flag has been a long passed Seabee tradition and was continued today. Seabees are the expeditionary engineering and construction experts of the naval service. They provide task-tailored, adaptable and combat-ready engineering and construction forces that deploy to support Navy objectives globally.
