200604-N-NU281-1031 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 4, 2020) Cmdr. Chance Litton, commanding officer aboard the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine USS Chicago (SSN 721), pilots the submarine to its homeport of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam following Encapsulated Harpoon Certification Training Vehicle (EHCTV) testing. Chicago conducted EHCTV testing which allows the submarine to carry and employ warshot tactical Harpoons. The Harpoon system provides commanders with lethal all-weather anti-ship capability to rapidly engage targets at long range. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Justin R.
