200601-N-KO930-1135 PACIFIC OCEAN (June 1, 2020) The aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) and the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) and USS Sterett (DDG 104) conduct operations at-sea. The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
