200518-N-DQ752-1007 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 18, 2020) A Sailor gives the signal for landing on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
