200515-N-ZF088-1041 PHILIPPINE SEA (May 15, 2020) A Mark 38 25 mm machine gun system fires at a "Killer Tomato" during a live-fire exercise on the fantail of the Navy's forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Killer Tomatoes, formally known as Inflatable Naval Gunnery Targets, are routinely used to conduct live-fire training. Ronald Reagan is currently underway conducting routine operations.
