200515-N-BC190-1218 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 15, 2020) An F/A-18E Super Hornet, from the �Mighty Shrikes� of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 94, prepares to make an arrested landing on flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group (CSG) is underway conducting a composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of a CSG, while testing a strike group�s ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
