200513-N-VW723-1005 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 13, 2020) Aviation Electronics Technician 1st Class Calvin Bourgeois and Aviation Electronics Technician 2nd Class Allison Kretschmer, both assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 6, conduct pre-flight maintenance on the rotary blades of an MH-60S Sea Hawk aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is underway conducting a composite unit training exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the carrier strike group, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
