Syann Noble-Sayers from Aurora, Colo., repairs wires of the ALR-67 countermeasure system on an F/A-18C Hornet, from the �Death Rattlers� of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 323, in the hangar bay aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is underway conducting a composite unit training exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the CSG, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
