200512-N-VW723-1000 PACIFIC OCEAN (May 12, 2020) The aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) conducts a replenishment-at-sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser (T-AO 187). The Nimitz Carrier Strike Group is underway conducting a composite unit training exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX is an intensive exercise designed to fully integrate units of the carrier strike group, while testing a strike group's ability as a whole to carry out sustained combat operations from the sea.
