Joseph Dougherty prepares a patient to receive a feeding tube which will allow nutrition, fluids and medications to be put directly into the stomach, bypassing the mouth and esophagus, in the intensive care unit aboard the hospital ship USNS Comfort (T-AH 20). Comfort cares for critical and non critical patients without regard to their COVID-19 status.
