200411-N-WI365-1207 EAST CHINA SEA (April 11, 2020) Ensign Cameron Grosse, from Spokane, Wash., scans the horizon from the bridge wing aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) during a photo exercise with Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) ships as part of Cooperative Deployment (CODEP). CODEP is designed to enhance routine operations and combined-joint interoperability with ROKN and to demonstrate the resolve and commitment to the U.S./ROK alliance and the region McCampbell is underway conducting operations in the Indo-Pacific region while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy�s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet�s principal surface force.
