200411-M-LR229-0450 NAVAL BASE GUAM (April 11, 2020) A U.S. Marine Corps MK970 semi-trailer refueler is offloaded from the Watson-class vehicle cargo ship USNS Dahl (T-AKR 312) to supporting elements participating in an operation to offload equipment for an expeditionary medical facility (EMF). The EMF will provide expanded medical capabilities in support of DoD’s COVID-19 response and will enable forces to be postured to support Guam and the region if a Defense Support of Civil Authorities mission is requested.
