200401-M-UF994-1027 NEW ORLEANS (April 1, 2020) Sailors from the Expeditionary Medical Facility New Orleans Detachment, deployed from Naval Hospital Jacksonville, are briefed by 377th Theater Sustainment Command personnel on their role in support of the Department of Defense COVID-19 response at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, April 1, 2020. The personnel assigned to U.S. Navy EMFs are trained to provide medical support from emergency medicine to acute medical and surgical care.
