200401-M-UF994-1007 NEW ORLEANS (April 1, 2020) Sailors deployed from Naval Hospital Jacksonville Fla., who now comprise the Expeditionary Medical Facility New Orleans Detachment, are greeted by 377th Theater Sustainment Command Soldiers, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, to be briefed on their role in the Department of Defense COVID-19 response April 1, 2020. The personnel assigned to U.S. Navy EMFs are trained to provide medical support from emergency medicine to acute medical and surgical care.
