200331-HR150-1053 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 31, 2020) Seaman Arthur Gray, from Memphis, Tennessee, operates the anchor chain capstan aboard the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). The anchor chain capstan controls the anchor windlass and the wildcat, allowing Sailors to take in or drop the ship's anchor. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as U.S. 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
