200326-N-KK394-1302 CARIBBEAN SEA (March 26, 2020) Aviation Structural Mechanic 3rd Class Brent Presco directs an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Sea Knights of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 22 as it prepares to take off from the flight deck of the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Detroit (LCS 7). During the deployment to the U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility, Detroit, with embarked helicopter and U.S. Coast Guard law enforcement detachment, will support Joint Interagency Task Force South's mission, which includes counter-illicit drug trafficking in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
