ATLANTIC OCEAN (March 19, 2020) An F/A-18E hornet, attached to the "Blacklions" of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 213, approaches the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) during flight operations. Ford is currently underway conducting its flight deck and combat air traffic control center certifications.
