200317-N-AJ005-1032 PHILIPPINE SEA (March 17, 2020) Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class Juliska Vargas, from Brooklyn, New York, stands lookout as the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyers USS Mustin (DDG 89) is underway in formation with the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) and the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Shiloh (CG 67). Mustin is underway conducting operations in support of security and stability in the Indo-Pacific while assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
