200224-N-VE240-1206 PATTAYA, Thailand (Feb. 24, 2020) Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) participate in a community relations event with the Father Ray Foundation School for Disabled and Special Needs Kids, in support of Exercise Cobra Gold 2020 (CG 20). The America Expeditionary Strike Group and 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit team will participate in CG 20, the largest theater security cooperation exercise in the Indo-Pacific region and an integral part of the U.S. commitment to strengthen engagement in the region.
