200204-N-WA745-1076 POHNPEI, Federated States of Micronesia (Feb. 4, 2020) Steelworker 3rd Class Roslyn Ruiz, right, and Steelworker Constructionman Shareine May, both deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 Detail Pohnpei, install a cement board outside of the computer lab at Sokehs Elementary School. U.S. Navy Seabees with NMCB-5 are renovating the school, which is comprised of over 140 students from the island of Sokehs. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
