U.S. Marine Corps combat engineers and U.S. Navy corpsman with 9th Engineer Support Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, worked alongside Thai deminers with the Thailand Mine Action Center, the national authority for defining operations, and a joint command of the Royal Thai Armed Forces to instruct military students on the tactics, techniques and procedures for locating and disposing explosive remnants of war and unexploded ordnance to alleviate human suffering, release hazardous land areas, and save lives.
