200123-N-NH199-1015 SAN DIEGO (Jan. 23, 2020) Sailors and Civilians assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD) attended a 3-day Bureau of Medicine and Surgery roadshow that brought the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS) roll-out team to NMCSD to provide training on the new system which will be implemented at the hospital, June 22, 2020. GFEBS is currently used by over 36,000 users in 71 countries. The Defense Health Agency is adopting GFEBS to replace the current tracking and reporting system we currently use. NMCSD’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services, and shape the future of military medicine through education, training, and research.
