Steven Lawrence, commanding officer of the Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Oklahoma City (SSN 723), gives a tour of the boat’s torpedo room to Surgeon General of the Navy Rear Adm. Bruce Gillingham, during a visit aboard Oklahoma City. The purpose of the visit was to discuss Gillingham’s priorities for the medical community and how they relate to maritime superiority and fleet-wide medical readiness.
