Ford (CVN 78) chock and chain an E-2D Advanced Hawkeye assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 20, on Gerald R. Ford's flight deck during flight operations. Gerald R. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its electromagnetic aircraft launch systems (EMALS) and advanced arresting gear (AAG).
