200113-N-JO908-1010 MANAMA, Bahrain (Jan. 13, 2020) Sailors assigned to CTG 56.11, participate in an embark security team (EST) training aboard a combat littoral simulator at Naval Support Activity Bahrain. The simulator allows ESTs to train in a controlled, digital environment using various shoot/no-shoot scenarios involving sea, land, and air assets. CTG-56.11 conducts maritime security operations to ensure freedom of movement for strategic shipping and naval vessels operating throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet area of opertaions.
