200106-N-HK234-5046 ATSUGI, Japan (Jan. 6, 2020) U.S. Navy Seabees deployed with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, Detail Atsugi, install a rebar cage prior to a concrete pad placement. The Seabees are constructing a loading dock at the Navy Exchange on board Naval Air Facility Atsugi. NMCB-5 is deployed across the Indo-Pacific region conducting high-quality construction to support U.S. and partner nations to strengthen partnerships, deter aggression, and enable expeditionary logistics and naval power projection.
