Hospital Corpsmen work together to maneuver a patient in a sked stretcher up a cliff as part of the 10-day Jungle Medicine Course. “Communication is a big thing when you’re moving that patient,” said Hospitalman Ava Hill, from Lafayette, La. “It’s heavy. You’re tired, and if you’re not communicating, somebody could slip or hurt themselves.”
