140117-N-VN372-001 OKINAWA, Japan – (Jan. 17, 2014) From left, Logistics Specialist 2nd Classes Eric Johnson and Travis Pommer from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3 anchor several 200-foot climbing ropes atop a ridge near White Beach Naval Facility. Johnson and Pommer were among 13 Seabees who volunteered to help remove a boulder dangerously perched above one of the primary access roads connecting the Heshikiya District to White Beach. After safely clearing the boulder, the access road was deemed safe and reopened for the first time in more than year. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Chris Fahey/RELEASED).
