MAYPORT, Fla. (June 7, 2022) Personnel from the Inter-American Naval Telecommunications Network (IANTN) participate in the sixth partner nation roundtable video teleconference conducted via the Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS) at U.S. 4th Fleet headquarters, June 7, 2022. Rear Adm. Doug Sasse, reserve vice commander at U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet, left, and other staff members participated in the conference, which was designed to strengthen partnerships through the discussion of items of mutual interest. Established in 1962, IANTN now includes 19 countries that participate in maintaining a permanent communication link among naval authorities of the Americas. CENTRIXS, a secure information exchange network, is the primary means of communication among all IANTN detachments. U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command/U.S. 4th Fleet is the trusted partner for Caribbean, Central and South America maritime forces leading to improved unity, security and stability.
