MAYPORT, Florida (Dec. 01, 2021) Gunner’s Mate Seaman Sergei Montross, from Tunkhannock, Penn., mans a .50 caliber machine gun as the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109) departs for a deployment as a part of Harry S Truman Carrier Strike Group’s (HSTCSG) deployment in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts. The Jason Dunham, USS San Jacinto (CG 56), USS Cole (DDG 67), USS Bainbridge (DDG 96), USS Gravely (DDG 107), HNOMS Fridtjof Nansen (F310) and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 1 will support maritime security operations along with other coalition maritime forces.
