PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 7, 2023) Civil service mariners aboard the Lewis and Clark-class dry-cargo ship USNS Carl Brashear (T-AKE 7) prepare to release a fuel probe to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Shoup (DDG 86) while conducting a replenishment-at-sea in the Philippine Sea, Nov. 7, 2023. Shoup is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 70, and is forward-deployed to Yokosuka, Japan in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
