by Chief of Personnel Public Affairs
04 March 2019

The fiscal year 2020 Full Time Support (FTS) and Selected Reserve (SELRES) senior and master chief petty officer selection boards convened March 4 in Millington, Tennessee. However, high retention rates and response to increased high year tenure gates resulted in a reduced overall advancement opportunity for E-8 and E-9 FTS.

Overall, the total number of communities with advancement opportunity increased demonstrating that advancement opportunity remains strong and steady for SELRES at the senior paygrades.
