(April 22, 2022) Information Systems Technician 1st Class John Loeffler, assigned to the Blue crew of the Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Billings (LCS 15), embraces his family as the crew returns to Naval Station Mayport, Fla., April. 22, 2022, after completing a scheduled deployment. The crew deployed to the U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations to support Joint Interagency Task Force South’s mission, which included counter-illicit drug trafficking missions in the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific.
