(Nov. 10, 2021) Boatswain's Mate Seaman Natalie Meehan assigned to the pre-commissioning unit of the future Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS Minneapolis-St. Paul (LCS 21), trains in the Littoral Training Facility during surface training advanced virtual environment (STAVE) scenarios at Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC), Detachment Southeast, Nov. 10, 2021. All Sailors and officers assigned to an LCS train in watch stations using virtual reality technology, and are required to demonstrate proficiency in their respective watch stations before manning live, shipboard watches.
