ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Aug. 26, 2021) The U.S. Naval Academy honored the life of Midshipman 1st Class Myles James, from Hiram, Georgia, with a memorial service. James died June 23, 2021 while on leave from the U.S. Naval Academy. James is survived by his mother, Stacy Welch, brother J.C. Thomas III, and his sister Briana Thomas.
