PACIFIC OCEAN (Sep. 02, 2020) The Royal Australian Navy frigate HMAS Stuart (FFH 153), the U.S. Navy guided-missile destroyer USS Chafee (DDG 90), the Royal Australian Navy frigate HMAS Arunta (FFH 151), and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) destroyer JS Ashigara (DDG 178) sail in formation following Exercise Rim of the Pacific 2020. Group sails between the JMSDF, ADF, and U.S. Navy support shared goals of peace and stability while enhancing regional security and the right of all nations to trade, communicate, and choose their destiny in a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
