160429-M-DT430-007 CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. (April 29, 2016) Marines and Sailors load a Light Armored Vehicle onto the back of a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) on the beach of Camp Lejeune, N.C. The LCAC will transport Marines and equipment from across the II Marine Expeditionary Unit to the USS Bataan where they will then sail to Fleet Week Port Everglades. . Fleet Week, which takes place in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., from May 2-8, will give the community of South Florida the opportunity to interact with the Marines and Sailors of the ship as well as see up-close and personal some of the capabilities and equipment the Marine Corps employs.
