191008-N-MD713-1003 SAN DIEGO (Oct. 8, 2019) Hospitalman Max Ciccone, assigned to Naval Medical Center San Diego (NMCSD), administers a flu shot to Retail Services Specialist 2nd Class Ramonito Ceballos at the hospital, Oct. 8, 2019. An estimated 3,000 inactive flu vaccines will be administered to Sailors, civilian staff and contractors. NMCSD's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
